7 days trekking in the pink coloured sands where Lawrence of Arabia once rode

The Arabian Knight Trek (between 21st and 28th October 2010) takes place in Jordan where Laurence of Arabia once rode, through the Wadi Rum finishing in the rose red city of Petra. This amazing trek challenges adventurers to scale its sheer granite cliffs

You may be invited to drink mint tea or cardamom coffee by the friendly and hospitable Bedouin tribes that are scattered through the Arabian Desert, living in black tents – or join them round their fire beneath the desert's night sky – a truly unforgettable experience. You will get to trek through the moonscape lands of ancient valleys and towering sandstone mountains rising out of the white and pink coloured sands. As you exit from the gorge el Khazneh (the treasury) will tower above you, carved out of solid rock and nearly 140ft high and 90ft wide – it is from here you will enter the amazing city of Petra, surrounded on all sides by soaring temples and elaborate royal tombs.
