Schools

The ethos of St. Luke’s is to support and be supported by the community.

With this in mind the Hospice has a dedicated schools team member to enable us to foster and support special relationships with schools and colleges.

Through our Work with Schools programme we can help with ideas, and give practical support to aid fundraising – we are happy to attend school assemblies and talk about our work on appropriate levels.

Note: Lukes Counselling Service for Children and Young People believes in an honest and open approach to support, enabling children and young people to share their anxieties and feelings in a trusting and safe environment. By acknowledging the impact of a life challenging illness, or bereavement, children and young people have an opportunity to express their feelings in a supportive environment. This service, based at St Luke's House, is available for any children and young people aged between 0-19 years within West South Essex.
