"Luke's" Children's Community Counselling Service

This service, based at St Luke's House, aims to support children through the experience of loss and to guide carers with helpful ways of allowing children to be included and express themselves. These support services are available for any children aged 5-13 years within West South Essex as well as providing a Limited service and support through family work for young people aged 14-16 years.

Services offered:

Short term 1-1 Counselling/creative therapy
Group weekends children/carers
Mini groups according to age and circumstances
Bereavement support visits
Phone advice, guidance and support
Pre-bereavement support and help

Local off-site facilities for limited one to one work in a creative play environment.

Group work and weekend children's programme based at St. Luke's.

Weekend adults programme at local venue.

Home visits and assessments with the home environment.
