Professional, Community and Business Partnerships Corporate Partners Our Corporate Partners are a group of businesses and organisations from within the Community that supports St. Luke's Hospice in various ways, not only from a financial perspective but also with the time and expertise of their management and employees which encourages an awareness of the needs of the community.  Valuing Local Diversity in Palliative Care (VLDPCG) The group began in May 2006 as a joint initiative between Basildon Hospital Macmillan Team and St. Luke's Hospice. The group meets bi-monthly and has over 35 professionals, organisations and community groups on its circulation list. Thurrock Community Chest The Thurrock Community Chest is a charitable trust and registered charity which recognises and supports the vital work of good causes and groups within the community using simple but effective fundraising. Clinical Partnerships St. Luke's Hospice has developed effective working partnerships with other palliative care providers in order to provide increased and seamless services to people in our local community. St. Luke's works in tandem with these services in a variety of ways, which may include providing a venue and/or providing staff for a service. These partnerships include:
