Volunteers

Volunteers play a very important supporting role in the work of St. Luke’s Hospice.

Volunteer work can be carried out in all areas of the Hospice:
  • patient care
  • driving
  • kitchen work
  • cleaning
  • laundry
  • reception
  • fundraising office/administration
  • gardening
  • maintenance

... as well as in any of our shops, warehouse and St Luke's House, Corringham.

Following an induction course all volunteers are specifically trained in their chosen role.

You can volunteer for any length of time, from just a few hours to full time. Volunteering for St. Luke’s is great fun as well as rewarding.
