Walk to remember. Walk to celebrate. Walk to make a difference.

Join us on Sunday 4th October 2026 for our annual sponsored walk, St. Luke's Loop. Take in the scenic views on 7.3-mile route or walk our new 3-mile route, Little Luke's Loop. 

Starting from our Basildon hospice the routes loop to Langdon Hills Country Park, rambling through the flower-rich grasslands and ancient woodlands on the 7.3 and 3 mile routes, before finishing back at the Basildon Hospice. 

All walkers will receive an exclusive wooden medal at our Basildon hospice finishing line. A selection of stalls and entertainment will also be available at Basildon hospice for walkers, spectators and public to enjoy before, during and after the walks. Furry friends, wagging tails and warm hearts are welcome. 

For those walking in memory of a loved one there will be an opportunity to create your own personalised bib at our 'decorating station' which can be affixed to clothing setting off on the walk.
