A special place to remember

Our Memory Tree, based at our Basildon Hospice, is formed of beautiful leaves, each dedicated to the memory of someone special. 

As well as creating a unique personal tribute, the donations supporting each leaf help St. Luke's Hospice continue to provide specialist palliative and end of life care for local people facing life-limiting illnesses and their families, year after year.

How does the Memory Tree work? 

• Choose from one of our three leaf colour options - bronze, silver or gold - and select whether you would like to make your donation annually or monthly
  
  
• Decide on the personal message you would like to be engraved on your leaf (e.g. 'In loving memory of John Smith'). 
  
  
• Place your order online or by calling our In Memory team on 01268 524973. 
  
  
• A member of the team will be in touch to confirm your order before your leaf is engraved. 
  
  
• When your engraved leaf is ready, you will be invited to the Hospice to place your leaf on our tree. Alternatively, a member of the team will be happy to add your leaf to our tree on your behalf and share a photo and video of your leaf once in position. 
  
  
• Your leaf will remain on our Memory Tree for one year, after which time you may decide to make a further donation to allow the leaf to remain on the tree for another year, or ask for the leaf to be returned in a presentation box for you to keep.
