Community invited to St. Luke’s Hospice Garden Party

Local people are being invited to come together next week for an afternoon of family fun, entertainment and community spirit at the St. Luke's Hospice Garden Party.

Taking place on Saturday 20th June from 12pm-4pm at its Thurrock Hospice, the free event welcomes families, supporters and the wider community for a summer celebration featuring live music, children’s activities, refreshments and shopping stalls.

A special feature of the day will be the Hospice's Blue Heart display, showcasing hundreds of blue heart garden ornaments purchased in support of the Hospice - a striking symbol of the important and impact of caring together. Blue Heart Garden ornaments can still be purchased online at www.stlukeshospice.com/blue-heart-appeal or on the day.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet members of the Hospice team and learn more about the care and support provided by St. Luke’s Hospice. The event will welcome the Essex Police Thurrock Community Team, with police and ambulance vehicles on display, alongside friendly donkeys and a unique miniature railway exhibition for all ages to enjoy.

Parking is available off-site at Langdon Hills Golf Club, Lower Dunton Road, Bulphan, RM14 3TY
A free shuttle minibus will run between the golf club and the Hospice every 15 minutes, with the last departure from the Hospice at 4.30pm
Parking for Blue Badge holders is available on site
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead
Toilet facilities are available
The event is accessible for wheel chair users
Blue heart garden ornaments can be purchased online or on the day and will form a beautiful display, before becoming a lasting feature in your home or garden
