Making your dedication and receiving your flower:

·       A limited number of ironwork forget-me-not flowers are available.

Ø  Each custom-made flower is 45cm tall and made of metal, painted in St. Luke’s Hospice colours. They are weather-resistant and can be kept outside throughout the year with maintenance, if you choose. 

·       All forget-me-not metal work flowers will be included in the Thurrock Hospice Memory Meadow display from 13 July to 1 August.

·       You will have the opportunity to collect your flower between Monday 5 August and Monday 30 September from the Thurrock Hospice.

Ø  Collections available Monday to Friday between 9:00am - 5:00pm from the Thurrock Hospice reception only [no appointment necessary].

·       Alternatively, if you have chosen to have your forget-me-not posted to you once the display is completed this will be sent to the same address as provided when paying for your flower.

Ø  Please advise if you require postage to an alternative address, UK only.

Ø  For postage to apply, this option must be chosen. 

Ø  Flowers will be sent by second class post from the 9th August to all who have chosen this option.

Viewing your flower within the Hospice’s Memory Meadow display:

Option 1 -

You will be able to view your forget-me-not flower in the Memory Meadow display free of charge from Monday 15 July to Thursday 1 August, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) at the Thurrock Hospice. Please ask for further details upon arrival at the Thurrock Hospice.

Option 2 -

We invite you and your family to visit our Thurrock Hospice Open Gardens event this summer, on Saturday 13 July between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. Entrance to the event is £5 per adult.  The event includes:

• A beautiful Memory Meadow of ironwork forget-me-nots 

• Guided tours of our Thurrock Hospice gardens from our volunteer gardeners

• A talk from the Royal Horticultural Society

• Catering by our St. Luke's Hospice Sunflower Café

• Plant stalls, garden ornaments and bird feeders for sale

• The Hospice Choir singing from 1-3pm Plus beekeepers, a small animals and reptiles stand and much more.

Please note the Hospice car park will be closed to visitors of the Open Garden's event but parking has been exclusively agreed for the event at Langdon Hills Golf Club [1 minute from the Hospice, on Lower Dunton road]. A free shuttle bus will transport Open Garden's visitors between the golf club and the Hospice every 15 minutes, as needed. The last shuttle bus will depart the Hospice at 4:30pm. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Toilet facilities are available.
