Thank you to everyone who took part in St. Luke’s Loop in October 2023 and raised funds for St. Luke’s Hospice

We need to raise over £11,000 per day to provide all of our services. As a registered charity we are reliant on the generosity of our community to ensure the continued provision of specialist palliative and end of life care, where and when its needed the most. Thank you for your support.

Your donations support local people, like Michelle. Read her story here.

About St. Luke’s Loop

St. Luke’s Loop is a 7.3 mile sponsored walk through Langdon Hills, starting and finishing at our Hospice in Basildon. The route itself is over hilly terrain and follows a designated pathway throughout, making this buggy and wheelchair accessible. Dog walkers are welcome to participate

On the marshalled and accompanied route, participants will go through woodland and hilly areas and will be able to take in the beautiful local wildlife as well as scenic views. Participants will also pass the home of two native pet pigs; Peaches and Humbug!

Below is the route map for St. Luke's Loop, please note A and B - our start and end location, is St. Luke's Hospice in Basildon. The route will be marshalled and accompanied throughout.
