Make a Will Month appointments with professionals are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Our Make a Will Month initiative covers simple Wills only. If you choose to make an appointment with one of our participating professionals, please discuss your requirements with them so they can advise and agree a separate fee with you, if necessary.

We recommend you seek professional advice when making or updating your Will, particularly if you have complicated wishes or a large estate above the inheritance tax threshold. If you already have a solicitor or if you would rather speak with a solicitor face to face you should do so. You can find a traditional solicitor through the Law Society. You can also find more information about making or updating your Will on the Gov.uk website.

When you make a Will with Make a Will Online using the link above, we are provided with information that is useful for our campaign – such as the date your Will was completed and the existence of any gifts. You can also choose to share your name and contact details with us. You can opt to keep all of this information confidential by visiting the general Make a Will Online website.

There is no obligation to leave a gift in your Will to St. Luke’s Hospice, but doing so is a special way to help us support the next generation of local people and families.

Please note that St. Luke’s Hospice maintains the right to withdraw its Make a Will Month initiative at any time.

To take part in Make a Will month you must be aged 18 or over.
