Counselling is an opportunity to explore feelings, thoughts and memories.

Our specialist team offer bereavement support to adults living with a life limiting illness, from diagnosis through to end of life or into survivorship. Bereavement support is also provided to children and young people up to 19 years of age, who are experiencing a bereavement or have a family member or friend with a life limiting illness.

Bereavement support is also extended to those who may have experienced a bereavement from suicide, sudden, traumatic or accidental deaths, or within the last 5 years due to a life limiting illness.

Our aim is to acknowledge anyone who has agreed to our bereavement support within 24 hours of us receiving the referral. Before support sessions are put in place, an initial assessment is arranged with one of our Counsellors in order to discuss the most beneficial support available.

Referrals

Our teams are on hand to answer any queries you may have and assist you with every step of your referral. Please note that referrals must be made with the permission of the client/parent/main carer and parental consent is required for clients under the age of 16 years.
