At St. Luke’s Hospice we recognise and appreciate the support and care that family members and friends provide to someone living with a life-limiting condition. This can lead to increased strain, stress and worries on the carer, who may not know where to turn to access help for themselves.
Our Carers Support Coordinator will discuss a wide range of practical advice, financial advice, training and emotional support, as well as ways to look after yourself whilst in your carers role. We also offer a variety of support groups – both virtual (online) and face to face.

We want every carer to have the opportunity to access support.  This starts with a  telephone call to discuss your needs and to complete a ‘carers assessment’. The call can be the first step to you accessing the support best suited to your individual needs.
